Welcome Commitee Charter:

The welcome committee meets new resident(s) and addresses the following items:

- Ensure they have an updated copy of the covenants.
- Acquire the family information for the  directory.
- Provide them with an HOA and committee contact list.
- Provide them with copies of the pool rules
- Provide them with contact information for the pool key
- Provide them with a copy of the improvement form
- Provide them with website access information.
- Develop a Torrey Pines Fact Sheet for distribution

- Pool Party - Early July
- Golf Outing
- Fall Festival
- Fourth of July parade

Pond Committee Charter:

Responsible for maintaining the upkeep on the retention ponds and dam.

- Algae treatment
- Weed control
- Aeration
- Tree and shrub maintenance and/or removal
- Liaison with County Engineer’s Office

Pool Committee Charter:

- Responsible for pool opening and closing preparations. b. - Responsible for seasonal maintenance of pool
- Responsible for maintaining pool furniture.
- Responsible for maintaining annual operating permit.
- Responsible for soliciting bids for pool services.
- Responsible for security and pool key distribution.

a. Take on maintenance tasks as directed by the Board.
b. Maintain lighting of pool area and front entrance.
c. Coordinate landscaping maintenance and winterizing.
d. Maintain a list of professional contractor services.
e. Assessment of HOA fencing.

Landscape Committee Charter:

a. Responsible for maintenance of all common areas.
b. Responsible for the maintenance of the fence.
c. Maintain oversight of the sprinkling and irrigation systems; communicating issues to the maintenance committee.
d. Direct contact/liaisons for following up with existing landscaping service agreements.
e. Solicit budget proposals at expiration of the service agreements/contracts.
f. Submit annual budget to the Board by August 15th; to include current and proposed.
g. Chairperson of the committee to maintain communication with the Board.
h. Responsible for seasonal decorations and plantings.

Architecture Committee Charter:

a. Responsible for reviewing and approving improvements/additions to existing and new homeowners’ properties, to ensure compliance with the covenants.

b. Maintain oversight on improvements to HOA owned facilities, including quality and color recommendations.

c. Chairperson of the committee to maintain communication with the Board.

The Torrey Pines board of directors consists of residents who serve two year terms.

The board is responsible for the management of the neighborhood, including:

A. Collection of homeowner fees, budget planning, and
approval of expenses.

B. Maintenance, appearance, and safety of neighborhood common grounds

C. Insuring the neighborhood covenants are adhered to.
